Self updating webpage

An annual task for all website owners is to update the copyright year across websites.

As a webmaster, you may find it a frustrating task to do it on time year after year.

Now open the page you want to reload automatically and click on the extension button.This can be frustrating if the text is updating faster than you can read a particular section -- especially if the information is important to your company.Most browsers allow you to turn off the automatic feature without much difficulty. Check the box marked "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page." Pages will now not automatically update and instead will ask you to click an on-screen prompt when you are ready for an update. Click on the extension icon (a white circular arrow in a red hexagon) at the top of the screen when you want to stop a page automatically refreshing.Unless a website needs to change very infrequently, it is essential that managers and staff be able to update the website without having to go through a web designer or technical staffer.This is what a content management system (-based sites are sufficiently confusing to update that the content owners don’t want to touch it, and the web designer or webmaster still has to be involved in every update.
